Smith & Starley was a British sewing-machine company based in Coventry, England, active in the early 1870s.
Founded by William Borthwick Smith and James Starley, it produced well-made domestic machines such as the “Queen of Hearts.” Although successful, the firm was short-lived and closed by the late 1870s.
