We have expert knowledge in all areas of shoe production, including: development, cutting, shoe sewing and logistics. All our consultants have shoe consulting areas of expertise, such as Software – CAD -, cutting room & dieless cutting, stitching room, finishing room, work studies and method.

First the customer fills in the questionnaire, or contacts us by email/phone. So we know if the customer wants a full consultancy for the whole factory, or for just a few segments (like in the cutting room or stitching segment). Based on the requirement and information given, we know which consultants we should send to the factory.

Shoe Consulting

phase 1

The first consultation, which takes a minimum of 3 days. The consultant inspects the factory to study where improvement/changes can be made, working with the existing machines at the factory, i.e. in the production lines and concerning the space available in the building/buildings. We are here during the collecting data phase, for all aspects we require further detail for. We also need the current factory layout plan, or will measure it during the visit.

Phase 1

Analyses Report

After this visit, a report will be sent by the consultant on where we believe improvements can be made. This will not be a detailed report, but a recommendation report, with options that can be discussed at the phase 2 meeting (this will just be an analyzing report).

At this stage, the customer should understand where its potential lies and should decide if and how to proceed. Based on this, we will prepare an offer for phase 2. In the phase 2 offer, we will mention how many days it will take for detailed project planning.

This consultation will be a minimum of 3 days:

1)

This will be a visit to discuss reorganization of production / buildings / space etc. and work with the customer towards a solution with the abovementioned options.

2)

I.e. discussing all the advantages and disadvantages of each option, percentage of savings etc. As mentioned above, this also depends on the projection and information details we have received from you as the customer.

3)

E.g. costs, altering production, and advice concerning which machines would be required (we will be neutral in this case) to make changes.

Phase 2

The Shoe Sewing Machines offer

Keep in mind: we do not yet offer shoe sewing machines. This is strictly for guiding customers. After this consultation, an office job over here must carried out. This means planning, drawing and calculating for the change in production, and a full detailed report with all current calculations will be made.

This calculation and planning will be made at our Global consultations office, and includes extra costs in addition to the daily costs, and must be billed to the customer (otherwise the customer can shop around with these actual numbers and calculations).

Phase 3

Execution of the project

After the confirmation, G.S.C. will take care of the changes in the factory as agreed. The consultant will assist / guide the customer in the changes which must be made in the factory. This also means for the new shoe production machinery that needs to be purchased etc. The consultancy period depends on the size of the factory / project. We can even keep the consultant in the factory, on a weekly basis for one year to check and assist until the changes are working well, and to guide the supervisors and other staff in the factory.

Fee & Invoicing

The invoicing structure

1)

The order sheet must be filled in and signed by the customers (free of charge).

2)

Pro forma invoice for phase 1 must be paid 100% in advance, before the consultant enters the factory.

3)

3 days at the factory and 1 day at the Global consulting office, plus payment of accommodation and flights.

Fee & Invoicing

Invoice phase 2

50% in advance (daily expenses, accommodation and flights) and 50% before the final report is ready (otherwise the customer can shop with this very important report).

Invoice phase 3

This will be done based on the consultant’s project duration / and stay in the factory during project execution. It will be finalized between the factory manager and the consultant after completing phase 2.
