Casige was a German company founded by Carl Sieper in Gevelsberg.
In 1902, it began making miniature working sewing machines for children.
Known for their cast-iron construction and colorful designs, Casige toy sewing machines could actually sew a simple chain stitch. Production continued until about 1975, and today these machines are popular collectibles
