Necchi is an Italian sewing machine company founded in 1919 by Vittorio Necchi in Pavia, Italy.
The company rose to international fame in the 1930s–1950s for its innovative, stylish, and reliable household sewing machines, such as the Necchi BU and Supernova models.
Necchi became a symbol of Italian design and post-war industrial success, exporting worldwide.
Although large-scale production later declined, the Necchi name remains well known and is still used today for modern sewing machines.
