A nervura circula num tambor quente que a pr\u00e9-aquece e, ao mesmo tempo, atrav\u00e9s de uma corrente de ar quente, ativa a nervura e a zona colada para conseguir uma maior ader\u00eancia da nervura. Um dispositivo de corte autom\u00e1tico corta a nervura num local exato e pr\u00e9-determinado, facilitando as opera\u00e7\u00f5es seguintes do processo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Al\u00e9m disso, gra\u00e7as \u00e0 sua guia regul\u00e1vel, podemos variar a dist\u00e2ncia da nervura em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao bordo da sola, que \u00e9 sem d\u00favida o melhor cimento para realizar os processos seguintes na produ\u00e7\u00e3o da Goodyear.
